The life of a small town politician told by him one evening, and that of a young woman activist, coalesce with unexpected ferocity. The play examines how power politics can subvert a woman’s empowerment effort. It is a companion piece to ‘Thus Spake Shoorpanakha, So Said Shakuni’, but can be performed separately.
